WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED ABOUT ME?
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your provided email address, your name, your IP address, and the time of your subscription – this is all we need to send you newsletters and document that you have subscribed to our newsletter.

You may also choose to provide us with additional information so we can make your user experience even more personal.

We use the third-party service MailChimp to send our newsletters. MailChimp collects additional information about you and your usage of our newsletters through your interaction with the newsletters. The information includes, among other things, whether our newsletter is opened, how long the email is open, when our newsletter emails are opened, whether and when links are clicked, and when the email is deleted.

MailChimp also collects information about the device and applications you use to access emails (newsletters) we send via MailChimp, such as your IP address, operating system, browser ID, and other information about your system and internet connection.

When you accept our terms, you also accept MailChimp’s privacy terms (Privacy Policy) found here and their user terms (Terms) found here.

You should also be aware that if you click on links in the newsletter to our website or to others' websites, we or others may collect additional information about you if you accept that the website uses cookies.

HOW IS INFORMATION ABOUT ME COLLECTED?
In addition to the information you provide to us, the use of our newsletter via MailChimp utilizes cookies and other tracking technologies such as web beacons. When you accept our terms, you simultaneously accept that MailChimp may use cookies and other tracking technologies to generate information as mentioned above. The detailed use of cookies and web beacons is described in MailChimp's terms.

WHAT DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION FOR?
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send newsletters, offers, and other marketing material to you. We may also use your email address to send informational emails about Blue Fox or our newsletter. We use your name to personalize our material for you.

The information we collect about you and about your use of our newsletter via MailChimp, we will use to assess our email campaigns and target our communications to you and to generally improve our service, so we can become even better at targeting and tailoring content to your interests in the future.

We use your IP address and the time of subscription to document your consent to us.

Our use is solely based on your consent, according to the Data Protection Regulation Art. 6(1)(a).

YOUR INFORMATION IS HANDLED CONFIDENTIALLY AND SECURELY
We store your information confidentially and securely. We have implemented the necessary technical and organizational security measures against your information being accidentally or unlawfully destroyed, lost or impaired and against it coming to the knowledge of unauthorized persons, being misused or otherwise processed in violation of data protection legislation.

We use MailChimp for sending newsletters. Mailchimp is provided by The Rocket Science Group, LLC and is based in Georgia, USA. MailChimp stores and processes personal data for us as a data processor, and we have entered into a written data processing agreement to ensure that your personal data is only processed according to our instructions, confidentially, and that the necessary security measures are in place to prevent your data from being compromised.

Since MailChimp is based in the USA, you explicitly consent with your acceptance of these terms that your personal data provided to send you newsletters, as well as data we generate regarding your use of our newsletters, may be exported to and stored in the USA.

MailChimp is also part of the Commission's Privacy Shield program. You can read more about the affiliation here.

HOW OFTEN ARE NEWSLETTERS SENT?
We send our newsletter when we believe we have something important or new to tell you. The newsletter does not come out at fixed intervals, so it varies how often you can expect to receive newsletters from us. However, we strive to limit the number so our newsletters do not fill your inbox.

WE DO NOT SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We do not sell or share your information with others for commercial purposes.

YOU CAN ALWAYS CORRECT OR CHANGE YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION
You can change or correct your contact information and the other information you have provided to us at any time by either unsubscribing from the newsletter and then subscribing again, or from your user profile page, which you can find via the link at the bottom of all newsletters.

It is described below how to unsubscribe from our newsletter.

YOU CAN ALWAYS UNSUBSCRIBE FROM FURTHER COMMUNICATIONS
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Once you unsubscribe from the newsletter, you will not receive further communications from us unless you have provided other consent for us to contact you. However, we will send you a confirmation that we have removed you from the recipient list for our newsletter, and we will then delete your email address from our newsletter recipient list.

The newsletter can be unsubscribed from by clicking on the "Unsubscribe from newsletter" link contained in every newsletter you receive from us.

HOW LONG DO YOU STORE INFORMATION ABOUT ME?
We store and process your information as long as you are subscribed to our newsletter. If you unsubscribe from the newsletter, we will delete your information.

However, according to the Consumer Ombudsman's guidelines, we must be able to document that those we send newsletters to have given their consent. Therefore, we are obligated to keep documentation for up to 2 years after we have used your consent to send newsletters. The information we retain includes the information we record at subscription, i.e., name, email address, IP address, and time of subscription. Other information is deleted immediately after your unsubscription.

If you unsubscribe from our newsletter, all statistical data about your use of the newsletter will be anonymized. The anonymization is done in such a way that it is not possible to deanonymize the information afterwards.
